Paolo Rui, artista, illustratore e docente di illustrazione, tecniche pittoriche e avviamento professionale nell'ambito della comunicazione. Ex Presidente Associazione Illustratori ed EIF - European Illustrators Forum, direttore della didattica della Fondazione Leonardo da Vinci. Borsista Fulbright 1988/89 presso Art Center College of Design. Residente a Milano e talvolta a Taiwan con due sogni: pilotare un dirigibile e andare su Marte, possibilmente facendo entrambe le cose contemporaneamente.

Paolo Rui, Board member and Educational Director of the Leonardo da Vinci Foundation, is an artist, illustrator and designer acting in Italy and Taiwan. He graduated at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and thanks to a Fulbright scholarship he proceeded with his studies at Art Center College of Design in California. He’s been President of the Italian Association of Illustrators and of the European Illustrators Forum and sits now in the latter’s Executive Board. He teaches at IED in Milan, Novalia Art Academy and the International School of Comics. He has received several awards for his work and participated in countless solo and group exhibitions in Italy, Taiwan and elsewhere, including one at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Taichung, Taiwan. I have two dreams: flying an airship and going to Mars, possibly doing both things at the same time.
