Manuela Santini nasce a Jesi nel 1975 e, dopo la maturità artistica, si trasferisce a Bologna dove nel 2000 si diploma in Pittura presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti, con una tesi sull’illustrazione per l’infanzia. Da lì inizia la sua attività come illustratrice. Durante gli anni ha collaborato con diversi editori italiani e stranieri: Einaudi Ragazzi, Mondadori Ragazzi, Mondadori Educational, Giunti, Edmund Monnier, Edizioni Esperia, Grimm Press, Editions Auzoue, Helbling Languages, ed altre. Da diversi anni organizza e gestisce Giardini Illustrati un laboratorio intensivo di illustrazione e realizzazione di albi illustrati presso il Wunderkammer a Ferrara. Si dedica inoltre anche ad un’altra forma d’arte: il teatro. Dal 2010 al 2018 è stata membro e cofonadore dell'Officina Teatrale Actuar di Ferrara, con cui a collaborato come attrice realizzando e portando in scena nelle scuole e nei Teatri numerosi spettacoli di teatro per ragazzi e laboratori per bambini. Dal 2013 collabora attivamente come membro dell' Aps Basso Profilo e come membro del direttivo del Wunderkammer entrambe a Ferrara per la gestione e la realizzazione di eventi culturali legati all'nillustrazione, alla grafica editoriale e alla formazione teatrale e artistica di grandi e piccini. Ora vive e lavora a Ferrara, dove continua la sua attività d’illustratrice, attrice, organizzatrice di laboratori di illustrazione e teatro per grandi e piccoli.

From 2010 to 2018 she was a member and co-founder of the Officina Teatrale A_ctuar in Ferrara, with which she collaborated as an actress creating and staging numerous theater performances for children and workshops for children in schools and theaters. Since 2013 he has been actively collaborating as a member of the Aps Basso Profilo and as a member of the Wunderkammer board both in Ferrara for the management and realization of cultural events related to illustration, editorial graphics and theatrical and artistic training of young and old. She currently lives and works in Ferrara, where she continues her career as an illustrator, actress, organizer of illustration and theater workshops for young and old.
