Silvana Mariani è Designer e Illustratrice dallo stile spontaneo ed elegantemente pop. Creativa dal background eclettico, si è formata alla NABA in Advertising and Graphic Design e si è specializzata in illustrazione frequentando corsi e workshop tematici presso Kent Institute of Art & Design (University for the Creative Arts), Accademia Disney e MiMaster. Dal 2012 firma la sua produzione di fashion illustration e textile decoration con lo pseudonimo Open Toe Illustration. Silvana Mariani rappresenta il fascino di oggetti iconografici e lussuosi, ma insieme trasmette la sensazione di un legame intimo con la semplice bellezza dei soggetti, ritratti in appunti visivi personali, dal segno aperto e veloce. Le illustrazioni glamour sono state esposte alla Triennale di Milano e pubblicate da riviste italiane e internazionali.

Silvana Mariani is a Milan-based designer and illustrator. Her distinctive approach to color and sign results in simple images with a sophisticated allure. She has collaborated with Marie Claire, Rivista Studio, L’Officiel, Glamour, Myself, Elle, Annabelle, Vogue, Pomellato, Pupa, Missoni, and Bulgari, among others. Her work has been exhibited in Milan at Palazzo delle Stelline and Museo della Triennale and she has been awarded an honorable mention for T-shirt design by Fashion Research Italy. “My references are fluid and constantly evolving. Stylistically I always felt involved in finding a balance between proposing myself with consistency and renewing myself with freedom.”
